Community Event Coordinator

Community Event Coordinator Salmon Arm Economic Development Society is currently recruiting a Community Event Coordinator. This multi-faceted position will attract applicants who are passionate about making a difference in their community. Preferred applicants will have a strong background in event planning and event bid submission, as well as project management. Specific responsibilities include implementing a community event strategy, supporting existing community events and attracting targeted events to Salmon Arm. Further, the individual hired will also be required to manage various projects related to visitor attraction and visitor services. Preference will be given to applicants with a post-secondary diploma in a related field of study with a proven track record in project management and successfully hosting highreturn-on-investment events.
