Murphy - German Shepherd Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Vernon & District Animal ID: 479157 Birthdate: January 12, 2015 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Male Murphy is an approximately 4 year old neutered male who came to us through a local Dog Control, and therefore we don't have any history on him. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys being around people - he can be quite anxious and vocal when left alone so a home where he can be with people most of the time & introduced to being left alone slowly is important. He is nervous when new people approach him in his kennel so we are looking for a home where he can be introduced to new people slowly & have a fairly consistent routine. Murphy is very active and will need an environment where he can get quite a bit of exercise & activity. He is learning about riding in cars but isn't too sure how he feels about them yet! We aren't sure if he's lived with cats or dogs previously so we aren't sure if he would enjoy another furry friend in the home.
