He came to us when his previous owners could not afford his vet bills. He has recently had surgery on both hind legs to repair knee damage. He is on the mend and looking for his forever home! Jaxx can be unsure about strangers, so proper introductions will be needed. Once he warms up and knows you, he loves you. He likes to snuggle up, and get belly rubs. If you stop petting him too soon, his nose will bump your hand, demanding more pets! He is crate trained, house trained, can sit, shake, and high five! While Jaxx is recovering from his surgery, he will be on short leashed walks only, until he is cleared by the vet that off leash is safe. The ideal home for this handsome fella will be a quiet home, with no children, no cats and not many visitors. He would enjoy the company of another respectful canine companion. While in foster care, he got along great with two tiny pomeranians. Jaxx is the type of companion who will bond closely to his person and shy away from lots of company and/or commotion.
